Myth: All remote starters are created equal!

Fact: Older versions of starters are not able to handle the needs of newer vehicles and can cause serious damage if they fail!

Myth: A starter will void my warranty.

Fact: Depending on how the shop installs the unit this may be true. You should never solder any wires into a vehicle. The heat from soldering could damage the sensitive components of the vehicle leading to a costly repair bill. We only tap into the wires of the vehicle using 3M connectors keeping the integrity of the wiring in-tact. We also do installations for many of the new car dealers in our area.

Myth: You must lose one of your $75 keys for it to work.

Fact: Very few vehicles require this to be done. Directed and Omega make bypass modules that don't require you to have another key made for the starter to work. Thier bypass kits also keep the factory anti-theft system working while the car is remote started for added security.
